It is important to try to understand the feelings, needs, and perspectives of others. We teach kids what Empathy means, but do we teach them to be empathetic? Practicing empathy is worthing we all need to work on, regardless of relationship and whether or not you “like” a person.

Are you Empathetic?

  • I often think of others feelings.

  • I don’t make fun of people because I imagine what it would feel like if I was in their shoes.

  • I listen to others and what the are going through.

  • I try to understand others point of view.

Shorthand: Walk in another’s shoes
